Andrew J. Brust is founder and CEO of Blue Badge Insights and writes a blog for ZDNet called "Big on Data” (http://www.zdnet.com/blog/big-data). Blue Badge Insights provides strategy and advisory services to Microsoft customers and partners. The company grew out of Andrew's background in application software development, dating back to 1985, and his industry expertise in Microsoft technologies including .NET, SQL Server, and Analysis Services.
Andrew, who serves as a Microsoft Regional Director and MVP, is co-author of "Programming Microsoft SQL Server 2012" (Microsoft Press), is conference co-chair of Visual Studio Live!, and writes Visual Studio Magazine's "Redmond Review" column. He is also an advisor to NYTECH, the New York Technology Council.
