Brian Walker is a Solutions Architect on the Microsoft Consulting Services Parallel Data Warehouse Center of Excellence (CoE) team, which trains and mentors architects, consultants, and partners on the most effective solution architectures and data designs for the PDW environment.
Brian has over 13 years of experience in the enterprise data warehousing space for the Oracle and Teradata environments in the telecommunication and financial services industries. These experiences have provided a range of capabilities that span business analytics, management information reporting, IT compliance, and production environment management. He also has extensive experience in the implementation of Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) enterprise data warehouse solutions leveraging DATAllegro and SQL Server 2008 R2 PDW appliances in the retail, manufacturing, and financial services industries.
