Where and when are the keynotes?
The keynotes will be held in the Microsoft Regency Ballroom, every day at 8:00 to 9:15 AM.

Where and when is the Welcome/Exhibitor Reception?
The Welcome/Exhibitor Reception will be held in Imperial Ballroom, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on Tuesday, May 3, 2016.

 

Where and when is breakfast?
The conference does not provide breakfast, but there are breakfast sessions hosted by sponsors.

  • Tuesday, May 3 in Atherton at 7:00am-7:55am. Register online on the Sponsor Events & Offers page of PASS Business Analytics 2016 webpage. Only 40 spots total. : Microsoft presents “Breakfast with the Power BI Research Team” – Please note, registration is currently full.
  • Wednesday, May 4 in Gold Room at 7:00am-7:55am. Register online on the Sponsor Events & Offers page of PASS Business Analytics 2016 webpage. Only 84 spots total. : Attunity presents “Bacon, Eggs and Data Integration for Hybrid Environments”. RSVP still open.

 

Where and when is lunch?
Lunch will be held in Exhibit Hall (Imperial Ballroom), from noon to 1:00 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Are there any networking events?
We are holding a Speed Networking event on Monday, May 2 between 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. It’s a great place to meet other attendees and PASS community members. All attendees are welcome.

What is a lab and how do I RSVP for one?
A lab is a hands-on 2 hour session. Attendees will have access to a computer pre-loaded with demos, workbooks and more. Located in Club Regent, the labs are RSVP only as we only have 50 spots. RSVP by logging into your PASS account and searching for Labs on the General Sessions page of the PASS BAC website. NOTE: Attendees who have RSVP’ed will need to arrive 5 mins before the session in order to claim seat, otherwise, your place may be given away to someone else, and you will be seated in overflow seating, as available.

 

Where and when can I find out more about PASS?
You can find more in the PASS Community Zone. PASS Chapter and Virtual Chapters leaders will be in the Community Zone to share their experience with PASS and other learning opportunities available during lunch hours.

 

Is your media sponsor, Excel TV, doing any interviews?
Excel TV will be covering the Welcome Reception and would love to talk to attendees and hear about their experiences with the event so far.

Can I participate in a focus group and where are they held?
There are several focus groups held on-site. The sessions are now full. Any attendees who have already signed up, can meet in Glen Allen room at their scheduled times.

 

Is there a bookstore on-site?
There is no bookstore on-site. Some speakers provided books they authored that be found in the Networking Lounge and the Community Zone for attendees to view at their leisure.  Those books can be purchased on Amazon and other bookstores.

Where can I download the Program Guide?
Scan the QR code on p12 of your Program Guide to download the app. Alternatively, look up on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store for “PASS Events”.  The Business Analytics Conference guidebook will be on there.

Where do I find the session evaluation forms?

Where can I find the Speaker’s PPT Presentations?
Speaker PPT slides will be on the General Sessions page at the bottom after the abstract. They will be available on as a PDF link to download.

 

Are there other business analytics learning opportunities?
We have Virtual Chapters that hold events year-round as well. To learn more and find a Virtual Chapter, go to http://vcs.sqlpass.org.

 

Can I purchase conference session recordings?
Attendees can purchase the session recording available on USBs. The purchase will also provide access to the recordings online. They are $295, with $15 shipping/handling in the US/Canada; $25 international, prices go up post-event. Add a USB purchase to existing registration at the Registration Desk.

 

Is there a place at the Hotel to hold my luggage before I check into my hotel or after I check out?
Yes, Fairmont San Jose is equipped with luggage storage at the Bell Desk in the Main Lobby. However, space may become limited to attendees/guests who are staying at the Fairmont San Jose so if you are staying elsewhere, it is best to check your luggage at your hotel.

 

Is there a chapel/prayer room available?
Unfortunately, no. We recommend the use of your hotel room.
